The 29-year-old “Holy Ghost” crooner took to Instagram on Thursday, June 12, to announce that he and his wife, Hally, are expecting their first child. The couple shared a heartwarming video clip soundtracked by Taylor Swift’s “But Daddy I Love Him”, showing them strolling in a serene open field. Hally, dressed in a flowy off-white gown, gently reveals a strip of sonogram photos, while Alan stands by in blue jeans and a white shirt, smiling with joy.
“Sweetest news we’ve ever shared — Praising God for this perfect gift! 🤍” wrote Hally in the caption, capturing the emotion of the moment.
The news marks another milestone in the love story of the high school sweethearts, who tied the knot on September 23, 2023, at the Grandfather Golf and Country Club in Linville, North Carolina, surrounded by 285 guests. It was a long-awaited moment for Alan, who shared in a previous interview that he had dreamed of marrying Hally since they were teenagers.
“I’ve wanted to marry Hally since the 10th grade — and now it’s official! I’m just happy to spend the rest of my life with my best friend,” said the artist.
Their union has been grounded in faith and mutual admiration. Hally reflected on their big day, calling marriage “the joy of my life” and noting that saying their vows “in front of everyone we love — and most importantly, before God — was so special.”
