Odumodublvck Slams Music Execs in Fiery Rant: “Do Right by Your Artistes or Face the Wrath of God”
Outspoken Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has once again set the internet ablaze, this time with a fiery outburst aimed directly at music industry executives.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the Declan Rice crooner unleashed a passionate tirade against what he described as exploitative and disrespectful treatment of artistes by record label bosses and music gatekeepers.
“An advance is meant to be given several months before an album,” he wrote. “Not after the album or just two months to go. That’s exactly when an advance is meant to be given.”
The rapper, known for blending raw lyricism with street realism, did not hold back. He warned music execs that their disregard for artists’ welfare could spark divine consequences.
“Music label executives need to get off their high horse and do right by artistes,” Odumodublvck thundered. “Or the wrath of God will dawn on each and every one of you. You do not want to be on the side God is fighting.”
He followed up with a stark reminder of the weight artists carry in the industry:
“Do right by your artiste, they are already doing a lot you cannot do.”
In classic Odumodublvck fashion, the rapper escalated the rant with a spiritual and combative tone, declaring:
“When I get like this, nobody can hold me because I’m speaking from the standpoint of righteousness. And from that standpoint, I can never be defeated. Go and ask all my opps—they lost. All of them.”
He also had sharp words for those who remake beats originally produced by his crew:
“For all you niggas that remade beats that my niggas made. When we see you, we see you—pussy-ass niggas.”
This latest rant has sparked widespread reactions online, with fans praising his candour while others warn that the industry may not take kindly to his approach.
Regardless of the backlash, Odumodublvck is standing firm, once again positioning himself as a bold voice in Nigeria’s music scene—never afraid to challenge the system.
