Nigerian international and Super Eagles forward Moses Simon has officially joined Paris FC on a three-year deal, the club confirmed on Wednesday, marking a major signing as the French side prepares for its first top-flight campaign in over four decades.

Simon, 29, makes the switch from FC Nantes, where he spent six productive seasons and cemented his place as one of the most consistent wingers in Ligue 1. During his time with the Canaries, he netted 37 goals in 201 appearances across all competitions.

His arrival comes at a pivotal moment for Paris FC, who are gearing up for their return to Ligue 1 — their first since the 1978–1979 season — following a remarkable promotion campaign.

A New Era for Paris FC

Backed by new ownership — including the influential Arnault family and global sports powerhouse Red Bull — Paris FC is rapidly reshaping its identity. With Austrian energy drink giant Red Bull now in the mix and former Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp serving as global head of football for the Red Bull group, the club’s ambitions have never been higher.

“Moses was a top priority for us,” said Paris FC sporting director François Ferracci. “He showed real commitment to our project despite strong interest from other clubs.”

Simon’s Second Wind in France

For Simon, the move represents a fresh challenge — but also a continuation of his journey in French football. The Nigerian forward has been a standout performer for both club and country, known for his pace, work rate, and ability to deliver in big moments.

With the eyes of the Super Eagles' fans and the Ligue 1 faithful watching, Simon’s chapter in Paris promises to be one to follow closely.
