Global Afrobeats icon Wizkid made a heartwarming statement at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival in New York, stepping out for the first time with his young daughter alongside longtime partner and talent manager, Jada Pollock.

The occasion marked the premiere of Wizkid: Long Live Lagos — a highly anticipated documentary chronicling the singer’s meteoric rise from the streets of Surulere to international stages. The film explores the rich layers of his artistry, identity, and deep ties to Lagos, the city that shaped his sound and soul.

But the evening's biggest surprise came off-screen. In a rare public appearance, the Grammy-winning artist walked the red carpet with his daughter in his arms, making it her official introduction to the world. Dressed in coordinated white ensembles, Wizkid and his daughter shared a tender moment that captivated attendees and photographers alike.

Pollock, elegantly dressed in a pink-and-white tie-dye dress and red sunglasses, completed the powerful family portrait. The event marked the first time Wizkid and Jada have publicly stepped out with their second child, born in 2022.

Long Live Lagos, directed by a visionary team and featuring voices like Femi Anikulapo-Kuti, Julie Adenuga, and Pollock herself, presents a layered story of home, fame, and cultural legacy. The documentary follows Wizkid's journey to his historic sold-out show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, threading themes of migration, identity, and belonging through his music and personal life.

For fans and cultural observers, the moment was more than a film premiere — it was a celebration of family, roots, and Black global excellence.
